Football Analyst Sutton Takes On Singer Olly Murs in Top Flight Forecasts
The Gunners' 10-game winning streak was ended by Sunderland before the global break, but can the English top division frontrunners bounce back against north London rivals Spurs this weekend?
"{I believe like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a plan for this game," stated football expert Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling best this season - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still find a way to win."
Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League fixtures this season, against artificial intelligence, fans and a variety of special visitors.
For week 12, he faces performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United supporter.
Murs' latest record, Knees Up, is available on Friday.
Football and Family Experiences
Olly is a talented footballer as well as a successful artist and has been a star of several charity football matches over time - but he is not intending a serious comeback as a footballer.
"{I recently played in a charity match the other night for a friend of mine," he explained. "My team was losing 3-1 when I was substituted in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you will!
"I still love football, but I hurt my knee a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it seriously again.
"Additionally I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my daughter or boy decides to play instead."
The singer and his spouse Amelia Tank have two children, Madison and Albert, and he is ready to emulate his dad by taking on the role of their manager.
"I won't force football on our children but I've previously told Amelia that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will likely be coaching their weekend football team," he added.
"I watched my relatives play a lot, and I really got into it, and I obviously was involved with a soccer team for a while too.
"My dad did it with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I get it from. He managed our side for several years and had great fun with it. That might be the future for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Top Division Forecasts
Saturday, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea might have to be patient for Cole Palmer's comeback from fitness issues but their attack is already stronger with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both returned to fitness.
In my opinion this game will be fairly close, though. The Clarets are disciplined and their only at Turf Moor defeats so far have been against Liverpool and Arsenal.
It smells of a 1-1 draw to me, but I am in fact going to go with Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third consecutive Premier League win in a row.
Sutton's forecast: 1-2
The singer's pick: Chelsea will be too strong. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Cherries have been defeated in their past two matches - albeit both of them were away - but they got thoroughly beaten by Villa last time out which shocked me.
In contrast, the Hammers secured two in a row before the hiatus and, although both of those games were at their stadium, they appear competitive again.
West Ham's sole away win this season came at Nottingham Forest in August, when West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo was still Forest manager.
Therefore, what on earth do I go with here - will it be the Hammers continuing their streak under their manager, or Bournemouth responding?
I am going to go with Bournemouth, because I believe what occurred against Aston Villa was a blip.
The pundit's prediction: 2-0
Olly's outlook: The home team are doing well but the visitors have improved under their boss. 2-2
AI's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Brentford were seen as one of the favourites for the drop before the season began, but they have impressed a few observers under Keith Andrews and are in fine fettle with three in their past four games.
My son told me to get Bees forward Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer team a few weeks back and, guess what, I didn't listen.
Thiago will likely find the net again on the weekend but I am nonetheless not going to select him or back the away side at Brighton's ground.
They have not had great success on the road this term, and Brighton are consistently decent at home. The visitors will attempt to attack on the break but I think Fabian Hurzeler's team pose much more of a danger.
The analyst's forecast: 2-1
The singer's view: This could be a match where you think there is going to be a lot of scores but it in reality proves to be rather close. 1-1
The computer's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
It is a massive game for Fulham, who have suffered defeat in five of their past six matches.
They have have plenty of quality in their squad but it nonetheless feels like they could be sucked into a relegation battle.
Regarding Sunderland, indeed they are the unexpected success of the top flight campaign so far.
The away side's display in the two-all draw with Arsenal last time out was superb. We have not seen anyone else rough up the North London side like that this term, and they were more than a match for them.
The logical choice to do to back the Black Cats here, because they are clearly able of disrupting Fulham up too and, the last time they were in this part of London, they defeated the Blues at the end of last month.
However I am not going to choose that. Instead, I really need to continue opposing Sunderland with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their good results because they clearly love to defy my predictions.
Considering the home side's home record, the only side they have been defeated by is the league leaders. Marco Silva's side will be extremely desperate for a positive outcome, so I am going to predict they will secure three points.
The expert's forecast: 1-0
Olly's prediction: I'm aware Sunderland are doing well and also that the hosts are on a poor run... but they have still been respectable at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
AI's outlook: 2-0

This is a hard one to call. Liverpool have suffered seven of their last ten matches in every tournament, but might they be one of the sides who benefit from the {international break|
