Between 2020 and August 2025, 213 children disappeared from welcome hubs for this group, with 182 recovered and 32 remaining vanished.

Ethnic Composition of Missing Children

In the two scenarios, Albanian children were the largest group to disappear, representing 50% the total from the hotels, 68, and in excess of one-fourth from the reception centres, 65.

The second and third largest nationalities to have disappeared from the two settings are individuals from Afghanistan then people from Iran.
